Trucking Announcements: Leadership appointments at TFI International, VTNA, VIPAR

This week, TFI International announced it has promoted Christopher Traikos, Mike Hover, and Dan Leslie to executive vice president roles. Meanwhile, Vipar Heavy Duty has appointed Jeff Paul as executive vice president, and Volvo Trucks North America named Christopher Roberts as regional vice president, Southeast. In addition, employees with U.S.-based carriers Lily Transportation and Transervice Logistics collected more than 1,000 toys for the Toys for Tots Program.
TFI International promotes three executives
TFI International has started the new year of 2026 with a series of executive promotions across its freight, logistics, and courier businesses.
Christopher Traikos has been promoted to executive vice president and chief commercial officer at TForce Freight.



Mike Hover has been named executive vice president of TFI International’s package and courier segment. He will oversee Canpar Express, Loomis Express, and ICS Courier.
Dan Leslie has been promoted to executive vice president, responsible for TForce Logistics operations in Canada and the United States, as well as TForce Integrated Solutions and Unity Courier.
“These promotions reflect not only their individual leadership and impact, but also TFI International’s continued commitment to investing in its people and building from within,” TFI said on LinkedIn.
Vipar Heavy Duty appoints executive vice president
Vipar Heavy Duty said it has appointed Jeff Paul as executive vice president. He most recently served as a vice president of marketing, where he was a member of the executive management team and oversaw data and market research, marketing strategy, corporate branding, communications, public relations, and corporate events.
During his tenure, Paul – who has been with company for 24 years — has led several strategic initiatives, including the development of the PARTSPHERE PIM & DAM platform and the Nucleus Knowledge Center. He has also played a central role in the growth and evolution of the Impact Conference, the company said in a news release.
In the new role, Paul will take on expanded operational responsibilities, including long-term organizational objectives, strategic relationship development, and oversight of innovation and expansion initiatives. He will also provide executive oversight for major initiatives, such as the reconstruction of the national accounts program.
Paul currently serves on the AWDA board of governors, CVSN board of directors, MEMA Heavy Duty E-Commerce Committee, and the Joint Operating Committee for Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week.
VTNA appoints Roberts to lead U.S. Southeast sales
Volvo Trucks North America has appointed Christopher Roberts as regional vice president, Southeast, effective Jan. 12.
In his new role, Roberts will lead sales operations across southeastern U.S. region and report to Peter Voorhoeve, president of VTNA.
The Southeast is the company’s second-largest U.S. sales region by volume and revenue, encompassing 60 sales locations, nine parts and service locations, and three parts-only locations. The region covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Puerto Rico, and parts of the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.
“The Southeast is one of our most important regions, and I am excited to have Chris step into this role and lead our efforts as we continue to strengthen our presence and support growth across the market,” Voorhoeve said.
Roberts has more than 21 years of experience in the commercial transportation industry, having held sales and management roles with multiple original equipment manufacturers and Michelin North America. Most recently, he served as new truck sales manager for Peach State Truck Centers at Birmingham Freightliner and Western Star.
Earlier in his career, Roberts spent more than three years with VTNA, supporting sales initiatives and customer engagement, and has served on Salesforce advisory councils and diversity councils.
Lily Transportation, Transervice employees donate more than 1,000 toys
Employees with sister companies Lily Transportation and Transervice Logistics collected more than 1,000 toys for the Toys for Tots Program during the 2025 holiday season. The donations were delivered to local centers throughout the United States for distribution to less fortunate children.
“For the past seven years Lily employees have donated thousands of gifts for this worthy cause,” said Sean Schnipper, director of marketing for Lily and Transervice. “Recently, Transervice employees were excited to partner with them to help increase the number of gifts collected and communities supported.”
