Trucking Announcements: New hires at Attrix, Rand McNally

This week, Ryan Fletcher joined Attrix as sales director for Ontario and the Western Canada region and Rand McNally welcomed Jeff Westover as global head of sales and marketing and chief revenue officer. Meanwhile, Kristin White has been named acting federal highway administrator in the U.S.

Fletcher joins Attrix

Attrix has announced the appointment of Ryan Fletcher as its new sales director for Ontario and the Western Canada region.

Fletcher has worked on all sides of the industry, from his time with Peterbilt on the manufacturing side to over 10 years of combined experience in fleet management technology and cold chain logistics, the company said.

“Ryan’s diverse background and expertise make him a valuable addition to our team as we continue to expand our presence,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.

Westover joins Rand McNally as global sales lead, CRO

Rand McNally announced the appointment of Jeff Westover as global head of sales and marketing and chief revenue officer. Westover will lead all commercial and go-to-market aspects of the company and its family of brands. He will be responsible for driving customer value and growing the company’s revenue.

“Jeff brings a powerful blend of proven skills, experience and creativity that are exactly what Rand McNally needs at this stage in our journey. And he’s already having a positive impact on the team and our customers,” said chief executive officer Doug Phillips in a news release. “I’m looking forward to partnering with Jeff to accelerate our growth and meet the maturing needs of the market.”

Westover brings three decades of experience to the job. Prior to joining Rand McNally, he served as a vice-president of growth at Hyperscience, a provider of enterprise AI software infrastructure. He also held a role of senior vice-president of expereince and transformation at InMoment.

Westover also worked as chief marketing officer and vice-president of sales at Omnitracs, formerly Qualcomm. Earlier in his career, he held executive and managing roles at companies such as OpenText, Hewlett-Packard, Autonomy, Siebel, and Microsoft.

White appointed acting federal highway administrator

Kristin White has been named acting federal highway administrator (FHWA), effective Sept. 11, 2024. She previously served as FHWA deputy administrator since May and joined the agency as chief counsel in July 2023.

Since then, White was overseeing FHWA programs and initiatives introduced under President Joe Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, according to the news release.

Before joining FHWA, White was chief operating officer of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America and co-founded Minnesota’s Office of Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV-X). She began her career as a Fulbright Fellow with the State Department in Japan.
