High Bar Brands (HBB), a North American supplier of heavy-duty truck parts, has appointed Mike Selick as vice-president of sales and promoted Derek Quys to senior vice-president of sales and business development as part of the company’s efforts to bolster its sales leadership team.

Quys will focus on higher-level strategy, including sales and business development, acquisitions, and corporate partnerships.

Selick, meanwhile, bringing more than a decade of industry experience to the role, will oversee HBB’s sales directors and regional managers, reporting directly to Quys. He joins HBB after serving as a director of sales at Trux Accessories for almost 12 years, where he was responsible for global sales.

HBB, known for its five brands – Minimizer, Premier Manufacturing, Dieter’s, Panelite, and Viking Mud Flaps – is actively pursuing additional acquisitions, a critical factor in Selick’s hiring and Quys’ promotion, according to a release.
