Trucking Announcements: Senior leadership appointments at TRALA, Fleet Owl, Lily Transportation and Transervice Logistics

This week, Shannon Davison was named senior vice president of operations and meeting management at the Truck Renting and Leasing Association, and Daniel Brink joined FleetOwl as chief revenue officer. Meanwhile, sister companies Lily Transportation and Transervice Logistics have appointed Stephan Oehler as chief financial officer and executive vice president.
TRALA names Davison senior VP of operations, meeting management
The Truck Renting and Leasing Association (TRALA) has named Shannon Davison senior vice president of operations and meeting management, reflecting her expanded leadership role and long-standing service to the association, according to a news release.
Davison has been with TRALA for nearly 21 years and has held progressively senior roles during her tenure. She now oversees the association’s operational functions and meeting management, including the planning and execution of the association’s major meetings and events, as well as initiatives that support its mission and membership.
“Shannon brings deep institutional knowledge and plays a key role in the successful delivery of our meetings and the day-to-day work of the association,” said Jake Jacoby, president and CEO of TRALA, in the release. “Her leadership and dedication to our members have been extremely important to the association.”
FleetOwl appoints chief revenue officer
FleetOwl has welcomed Daniel Brink as chief revenue officer in a move the company said will support its growth strategy following the recent acquisition of SOS Trucking Software.
Brink will lead FleetOwl’s revenue operations and focus on expanding the company’s presence beyond Florida into transportation markets across the U.S., according to a news release. He will also support the integration of SOS Software, which adds around 4,000 trucks across about 100 transportation and logistics companies to FleetOwl’s customer base. He will also lead the initiatives aimed at modernizing the platform with new features and increased functionality.
Brink brings more than 20 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, and operational leadership to the role. His background includes overseeing multi-site distribution operations, managing large teams, and implementing strategies to increase efficiency across transportation networks.
Prior to joining FleetOwl, Brink served as director of operations at Ideal Nutrition, where he managed seven locations across Florida and helped scale weekly production from 70,000 to 120,000 meals in eight months. Before that, he spent more than eight years with XPO Logistics as director of warehousing and logistics, overseeing nine distribution facilities.
Oehler becomes CFO and executive VP at Lily Transportation, Transervice
Sister companies Lily Transportation and Transervice Logistics have appointed Stephan Oehler as chief financial officer and executive vice president. Oehler will oversee finance, accounting, risk management, and IT functions across both organizations.
Oehler brings more than 20 years of experience in the transportation and logistics sectors, with understanding of components of the transportation, maintenance, and leasing industries, according to a news release.
His experience includes roles as CFO and executive vice president of finance, strategy and transformation at Keolis North America in Boston and a senior finance leadership roles with Kuehne + Nagel International.
“We are excited to add Stephan to the executive and leadership teams at both Lily and Transervice,” said Gregg Nierenberg, the companies’ president and CEO. “Stephan has a strategic mindset and significant experience in the transportation industry. He is known for being a strong business partner to sales and operations, while building strong, empowered teams in his functional areas.”
