US DOT asks for input on modernizing data gathering
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) is seeking public feedback on its modernization efforts.
BTS said it aims to keep up with changes in transportation by shifting its emphasis from trends and recent conditions to more frequent, forward-looking indicators of transportation use and performance.
“BTS appreciates comments and suggestions from partners, stakeholders, data users, and others to inform this review and help us to continue to provide effective products and services in the future,” the agency said in a statement.
