Newark, NJ-based Voyager Trucking announced Dec. 15 that it has acquired Vision Transport, a Fairview-based regional hauler serving municipal solid waste customers across the Mid-Atlantic.

The acquisition brings together two operators with operations spanning New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, strengthening Voyager’s ability to serve both public- and private-sector customers through a larger integrated fleet and expanded operational expertise, the company said in a news release.

Under the transaction, Tom DiDonato, CEO of Voyager Trucking Corporation, will continue to lead the combined business, while Vision chief executive officer Tim Markoglu will remain in a senior executive role. Voyager said the Vision brand and its employees will remain in place to ensure continuity for customers and support ongoing growth initiatives.

“Vision has built an exceptional business with a strong service culture and a commitment to operational excellence,” said DiDonato. “This partnership enhances our capabilities, deepens our footprint, and positions us to provide even greater value to our customers. We look forward to integrating Vision’s talented team and continuing to invest in growth across our network.”

“Joining Voyager represents an exciting new chapter for our company,” Markoglu added. “Together, we will be able to offer expanded resources and capacity while maintaining the high-quality service our customers have come to expect.”
