Wisconsin seeks industry input on truck parking
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said it is planning a truck parking study that will use onboard technology to identify locations where trucks are currently parking. The study is anticipated to be completed next summer.
In addition, WisDOT is conducting an online survey of drivers, trucking companies, and truck stops to understand their concerns regarding safe truck parking.
The survey is open until Jan. 19 and can be accessed here. WisDOT estimated it takes about 12 minutes to complete.
