Freightliner adds options to Class 6/7 M2
PORTLAND, Ore. — Freightliner says new options are now available for order on its Class 6/7 M2, enhancing fuel economy, driver retention and professional image.

New options include:
Allison FuelSense technology: Ideal for P&D applications, FuelSense is a set of software packages that automatically adapt to shift cycles and torque, maximizing transmission efficiency based on load, grade and duty cycle. The package is mated to a 200 hp Cummins ISB6.7 engine.
Driver retention package: The driver retention package includes premium interior features that contribute to driver comfort. They include a roof console with storage, premium insulation, a wood grain instrument panel, additional in-dash power outlets, Bluetooth-enabled satellite radio, power windows and locks, and more.
Professional image package: The professional image package features chrome and bright finish options, including a chrome hood-mounted air intake grille, a hood-mounted chromed plastic grille, a 14-inch round polished air horn, chrome headlight bezels and more.
