PTTAC forms Red Seal champions committee
The Professional Truck Training Alliance of Canada (PTTAC), continuing the drive for Red Seal apprenticeship for commercial truck drivers, has formed a a Red Seal champions committee chaired by Don MacDonald of CCA Truck Driver Training Alberta and co-chairman of PTTAC.
The committee comprises of the following:
Nancy Paziuk, First Class Training Center, Man.; Earl Driedger, Maximum Training, Sask.; Carmela Gennaro, Genaro Transport Training, Alta.; Matt Richardson, KRTS Transportation Specialists, Ont.; Tony Falk, United Transportation Driver Training, Man.; Mike Millian, Private Motor Truck Council of Canada; Kelly Henderson, Trucking Human Resources Sector Council Atlantic (THRSCA); Chris Nash, Women Building Futures; James Johnstone, Giant Tiger; and Mario Da Silva, Manitoulin Transport.
The alliance is continuing with its round table meetings. One will be held in Nova Scotia on Oct. 8 with THRSCA, and the other on Oct. 15 in Alberta hosted by PTTAC.
