U.S. Customs, CCRA host FAST/NEXUS open house event

PORT HURON, Mich./SARNIA, Ont. — Commercial importers, carriers, drivers and frequent travellers are invited to participate in an open house event, November 5-8, to learn more about the FAST/NEXUS expedited clearance programs.

Seminars are free, and Customs and Immigration officers from the U.S. and Canada will be on hand to answer your FAST/NEXUS questions.

Interested applicants can also register on-site for the programs.

The event is sponsored by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the Michigan Department of Transportation, and the Blue Water Bridge Authority.

The event takes place at two locations. On November 5 and 6 in Port Huron, Michigan, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Thomas Edison Inn, 500 Thomas Edison Parkway.
On November 7 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m) and November 8 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) in Sarnia, Ontario at the Holiday Inn, 1498 Venetian Boulevard
