LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. — Twenty Mack Granite and Pinnacle trucks will be fanning out across North America as part of the Mack Performance Tour beginning in late June. The trucks are equipped with US07-certified Mack MP engines will visit Mack dealerships in the US and Canada through the end of September.

Nothing beats a hands-on experience to get customers excited about new products, said Tom Kelly, vice-president of marketing for Mack. Customers have told us they really want to see the US07 engines and experience their operation so they can get comfortable with the emissions technology. So we are sending these trucks on the road to demonstrate the quality, productivity, reliability and performance of our trucks and new engines.

Mack customers will be able to test drive the trucks at the dealerships during the tour.

The Mack Performance Tour kicks off with a special dealer and customer event in Las Vegas on June 7-9. Afterwards, the trucks will hit the road, with each Mack loaded to capacity to give customers a real feel for the power of the MP engines. Mack dealerships will publicize their own events locally with customers. Mack will also have a special Web site available in mid-June (www.mackperformancetour.com) to update tour schedules for customers.
