BURLINGTON, Ont. — PeopleNet has announced it is targeting the French language market by offering a French version of its BLU and adding a bilingual account manager.

Richard Budzyn has been named account manager serving Quebec and the Maritimes.

“We welcome Richard to the PeopleNet family. His broad experience and comprehensive knowledge of trucking and of our integrated mobile communications and onboard computing solutions will greatly benefit PeopleNet customers – current and future,” PeopleNet Canada president Jamie Williams said.

Budzyn was previously employed by Shaw Tracking and prior to that he worked for several major truckload and LTL carriers. He will serve Eastern Canadian customers in both French and English and can be reached at 506-854-1330.

I appreciate the honesty and the integrity of PeopleNet and their personal approach to customers,” Budzyn said. “PeopleNet can significantly reduce communication and tracking costs with value-added applications and integrated solutions to help customers improve their bottom line.”

Meanwhile, the company is also making its PeopleNet BLU onboard platform available in French.

“BLU is a great step forward for all fleets. The French version of BLU and our parallel language efforts demonstrate our commitment to this very important part of the North American fleet market,” Ron Konezny, PeopleNet CEO said. “This is something we have wanted to do for a long time. Trucks from excellent fleets based in Quebec are a familiar sight on highways across North America. We look forward to serving these international fleets as well as fleets that operate closer to home within French speaking regions.”
