The low rider
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Marmon-Herrington claims their Low Floor Front Drive (LFFD) suspension will revolutionize the transportation industry by enabling vehicle floors to be lowered to the appropriate height for any application.
In conjunction with the Dallas Smith Corporation Axleless suspension, Marmon-Herrington can convert any standard truck chassis into LFFD.
The technology enables the ride height to be reduced to as little as six inches off the ground, which the company claims enhances convenience and safety while unloading and improves handling due to a lower center of gravity and independent rear suspension. n
