MINDEN, Ont. – The 2003 16th annual Minden Kinsmen Truck Pull was a success, organizers say.

The pull included a range of categories including highway tractors, logging trucks, tandem trucks, tri-axle trucks, 4x4s and ATVs.

“We had a good year, there was a pretty good turnout of spectators and over 160 participants, but we couldn’t have done it without our great bunch of volunteers,” said Susan Danilko, event organizer.

Danilko said things went a little smoother this year with the registration process, which helped avoid congestion at the gates and the committee will hold their first meeting for next year’s event, scheduled for June 19, 2004, at the end of July.
