Where has the courtesy gone?
Dear Editor:
It has occurred to me that the days of the “good old boys club” in trucking has long gone.
These days were not much different than today except one thing: consideration. It has been a thing missing in the trucking industry for a while in the way guys drive now and the way shippers handle drivers. The whole thing has produced an environment that keeps drivers and trucking companies a little too edgy, no one has time to chat. This makes guys race down the highway, because they’re under some deadline.
