TORONTO, Ont. — Nulogx has launched its new Transportation Assessment service, a tool which allows shippers to benchmark their freight cost performance against the Canadian General Freight Index.

The CGFI is published monthly by Nulogx and used by thousands of professionals across the transportation industry. Officials say the new Transportation Assessment service will allow shippers to gain valuable insights into how their freight costs compare to the aggregated CGFI database.

“Now with only a one-month sample of shipments, we can prepare a customized report showing the variance to the market for total costs, base rates and fuel surcharges,” said Doug Payne, president and COO at Nulogx. “We also have the ability to segment our analysis further to bring greater focus on the sources of the variances.”

“This is an exciting and innovative solution that we are now releasing to the public. Anyone looking for insights on how they may be able to improve their transportation processes should take advantage of this opportunity,” said Scott Irvine, vice-president of business development at Nulogx.

For a limited time, Nulogx is performing these freight cost benchmarks for free to qualified shippers.
