Hamilton Transportation Club seminar to focus on weights, dimensions reforms

HAMILTON, Ont. — The Hamilton Transportation Club will be hosting a half-day breakfast seminar Oct. 20.

The seminar will feature a look at Phase 4 Reforms – Weights & Dimensions and the gradual migration to vehicles designated as Safe, Productive and Infrastructure-Friendly (SPIF).

Acting a guest speaker with be Joe Lynch, team leader of the Vehicle Weights and Dimensions Goods Movement Policy Office at the Ministry of Transportation.

The event will be held at the Waterfront Banquet and Conference Centre on the second floor of the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club. Registration starts at 8 a.m., with breakfast at 8:45 a.m., Lynch’s presentation at 9:45 a.m., followed by a question and answer session at noon.
