Teletrac Navman has launched Energy Hub, a new feature within its TN360 fleet management platform that brings fuel and electric vehicle energy data into a single dashboard.

Designed for fleets operating a mix of conventional, electric and hybrid vehicles, Energy Hub combines fuel card transactions with charging data from home, depot and public charging sources. It also supports other alternative energy types as fleets diversify their powertrains.

Real-time vehicle insights, including battery state of charge (SoC) and estimated remaining range, give managers a clearer understanding of vehicle readiness across EV and hybrid fleets, the company said in a news release. Building on Teletrac Navman’s existing telematics platform, Energy Hub supports configurable alerts and exception-based reporting that can identify overcharging, unusual fuel transactions and inefficient charging behaviour.

Energy Hub also centralizes fuel card transaction data to help fleets reconcile spending and identify anomalies. For EVs charged at home, the platform can use driver trip classifications to calculate and allocate electricity costs associated with business travel for reimbursement.

Fleet managers can use the dashboard to track energy consumption, transaction volumes, cost per kilowatt-hour and overall energy spending. They can also monitor charging sessions and vehicle charging status and locate public charging infrastructure.
