ATLANTA, GA - UPS CEO and Chairman David Abney has taken a pledge to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Abney signed the pledge just a month after 175 CEOs came together to launch the "CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion" program, aimed at creating a more welcoming work environment for everyone.

WALCOTT, IA - For 38 years the World's Largest Truckstop in Walcott, Iowa has been putting on a Truckers Jamboree. For more years than she cares to count, Heather DeBaillie has been organizing this show. During July 13-15, there were 157 exhibits, 72 rigs in the Super Truck Show and Shine, and close to 200 antiques -- all brought by meticulous drivers from Florida to Canada. Walk around and you'll quickly pick up on the love these people have for their industry. Look a little closer and you'll see the care they also have for others displayed anywhere from messages on their trucks to full-wrap tribute vehicles.
Frost & Sullivan has recognized Drivewyze as its company of the year. Chandramowli Kailasam, team leader at Frost & Sullivan's Global Commercial Vehicles Research, said in a July 18 release that the company "addressed the shortcomings of existing transponder-based weigh station bypass systems, which require high up-front costs and heavy infrastructure investment, with a nimbler and more cost-efficient weigh station bypass solution."
