Stemco marks 75 years in business
Heavy-duty component manufacturer Stemco is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.
Founded in 1951 and now part of Enpro Inc., the Texas-based company manufactures wheel-end and axle-related components used across the trucking industry, including seals, hub caps, bearings, axle fasteners, and king pins.

“As Stemco celebrates 75 years of innovation and service, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to everyone in the commercial vehicle market, namely our deeply valued customers and employees, who have contributed to our longevity and success,” said Chip Stuhr, president of Stemco.
Stuhr said the company’s history reflects a continued focus on engineering products that help fleets improve uptime and reduce operating costs.
“Together, we’ve made remarkable strides in our mission to make the roadways safer,” he said. “This anniversary is not just a celebration of the past, but a recognition of the trust and collaboration that has propelled us forward.”
Stemco said it will mark the milestone throughout 2026 with promotional initiatives and customer outreach activities.
