THERE ARE TOO MANY TIRE COMPANIES

One last note on tires: There are too many tire companies! Seriously, there are 150 that have a SmartWay tire and how many others that do not? Most of the names on the list are not recognizable but someone’s buying these tires and they are the only thing separating your truck’s expensive metal parts from the asphalt.

So I thought I’d have some fun with it and name my three favourite tire brands with a SmartWay offering. (This is a good time to point out, opinions expressed in this newsletter are my own and not necessarily shared – or found funny – by anyone else). Here we go:

Triangle Tire: Believe it or not, there’s not a Circle Tire, so there were better shapes available. Hopefully the brand name does not speak to the ride quality.

Windcatcher Tire: Isn’t this the exact opposite of fuel-efficient?

Luckyear: Because sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good?
