OPP recover stolen CMV from Brampton men, discover illicit cannabis
Two Brampton, Ont., men were arrested and charged after police recovered a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) they had stolen and discovered 411 lb. (186 kg) of illicit cannabis within it.
On Feb. 16, at 9:10 p.m. members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Dryden were dispatched to investigate the theft of a CMV, according to a news release. The vehicle was located on Highway 17 in Revell Township, where two individuals were arrested for the theft.

Following a search, police located suspected cocaine on the individuals. A further search of the CMV revealed a total of 410 vacuum sealed bags of illicit cannabis, with a total seized weight of 411 lb.
Parwinder Pandher, 39, and Taranjit Gill, 44, have been charged with multiple offences. The charges have not yet been proven in court.
