APTA names Weavers Driver of the Year, McDonald Dispatcher of the Year
The Atlantic Province Trucking Association (APTA) named Ross Weavers of Morley Annear as Driver of the Year and Jami McDonald of Eassons Transport its Dispatcher of the Year.
The association recognized and celebrated exceptional achievements in the trucking industry during its annual awards dinner on Dec. 12 in Moncton, N.B.
The other winners included:
- Good Samaritan: Andrii Stefishyn, Sunbury Transport
- Woman of the Year: Mary Adams, Seaboard Transport Group
- Atlantic Recruiter of the Year: Lori Knudson, RST Sunbury Transport
- Safety to Motor Transportation: Stephen Zwicker, HUB International (Atlantic)
- Technician of the Year: Harold Betts, Trans East Trailers
- Driver Mentor of the Year: Robert Ludlow, Midland Transport
- Service to the Industry: Dale Rourke, Day & Ross
