APTA offers $750 bursaries to future mechanics
The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) is offering $750 bursaries to high school graduates entering a heavy-duty truck and trailer mechanic program.
The APTA, aiming to support the next generation of skilled tradespeople, will offer one-time bursaries to seven individuals annually, according to a news release. The candidates must be entering programs at NSCC, NBCC/CCNB, or CONA.

The trucking companies should come together with fed gov on a 50 50 national plan to train mechanics and to import them . And every one I hate gov _ $ going into private training but this is good also the trucking ass work set up a basic tool box from mid grade tools from different suppliers and order 5000 per year as a reward for those that complete the first year of training and working in a shop the same what we did back in the 1950s and 1960s
