Accuride has appointed Kent Jones as its new chief executive officer (CEO) and board member, effective June 9. The move comes three months after the company completed a major restructuring process on March 7.

Jones most recently served as president, Americas at SAF-Holland, where he led a significant transformation of the company’s operations, according to a news release. Over a 30-year career, he has held senior executive roles at ZF Group, Remy International, and Delco Remy.

Accuride says Jones will be based at its headquarters in Livonia, Mich.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kent to Accuride. He understands our industry and brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of driving innovation and growth,” said board chairman Fred Bentley in the release.

“We believe that Kent’s hire comes at the right time to deliver transformative leadership for the benefit of our company, our people, and our customers and business partners.”

As part of the leadership change, Geoff Bruce will return to his role as president of Accuride Wheels, while former CEO Robin Kendrick will step down from the board on June 9. Kendrick had led Accuride since 2019 and oversaw the company’s restructuring.
