Trimac promotes Carpenter, Lockett, Loftus

Trimac Transportation has announced executive leadership changes, promoting Dan Carpenter, Shantel Lockett, and Chantel Loftus to new roles as the company continues to expand its North American footprint.

These appointments focus on advancing operational efficiencies, strengthening talent and resource allocation, and expanding Trimac’s reach through organic and acquisition-related growth, according to a news release.

Carpenter has been appointed senior vice-president of corporate development and integration. Trimac said he brings experience in leading complex transactions and post-deal integration. In the expanded role, Carpenter will lead Trimac’s mergers and acquisitions strategy across Canada and the U.S.

Lockett steps into the role of vice-president, controller, with responsibilities for financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting overall financial growth. Locket is also the chairwoman of Trimac’s Diversity, Inclusion, Equity & Belonging Council.

Meanwhile, Loftus has been promoted to vice-president of corporate development. Since joining Trimac, Loftus has played a role in its acquisition-related growth, the release reads. She will lead initiatives to identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, support acquisition strategies and advance company priorities.
