Di Rupo will oversee Groupe Touchette’s end-to-end global supply chain, from tire manufacturers and distribution centers worldwide to final delivery to customers across Canada. Her responsibilities include procurement and planning, a coast-to-coast network of distribution, warehouse, and storage facilities, kitting operations, and management of Groupe Touchette’s fleet and transportation partners. She will report to Egil Møller Nielsen, chief operating officer, and serve on the company’s Steering Committee.

Di Rupo joins Groupe Touchette with more than 20 years of experience in large-scale supply chain and operations management. She most recently served as vice-president of supply chain and operations at McKesson Canada, overseeing multi-site distribution, automation, and forecasting initiatives, and has also held senior roles at Sustana, ArcelorMittal, and Bombardier.

Calstart names Berube as CEO

Calstart has appointed Michael Berube as its next CEO, succeeding long-time leader John Boesel, who is retiring after three decades with the organization, including 24 years as CEO. Berube will assume the role at the clean transportation nonprofit on Nov. 13, 2025.

As CEO, Berube will focus on driving initiatives aimed at solidifying the role of new affordable and clean transportation options for consumers and businesses through close industry partnerships.

Berube brings experience spanning both public and private sectors, including two decades in senior roles at Fiat Chrysler and Daimler-Chrysler, where he led product strategy and helped bring low-emissions technologies to market. Most recently, he served as a senior official for sustainable transportation at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for a decade, where he helped establish the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation and the Federal Consortium on Advanced Batteries.

“It is a privilege to join Calstart at such a profoundly pivotal moment in our industry,” Berube said. “Transportation is vital to the economy and to consumers’ everyday lives. It is at an inflection point and needs bold leadership to help secure the promise of lower-cost and low-emissions options that meet the needs of all Americans.”

Calstart board chairwoman Cynthia Williams said Berube’s mix of policy, technical, and sustainability expertise makes him “superbly equipped to lead the organization during a critical time of transformation in the clean transportation sector.”
