IdleAire power shore being fitted at 50 TA locations

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America has announced that idling-reduction technology will be installed at 50 TA locations over the next 15 months, following a recent partnership agreement with IdleAire Technologies.

Road weight restrictions lifted in NS

HALIFAX -- Weight restrictions in eight Nova Scotia counties are being removed today. The province's Transportation department has announced those counties as Halifax, Hants, Kings, Annapolis, Digby, Yarmouth, Shelburne, Queens and Lunenburg. Individual roads in those counties could still be posted for lower weights, however. Restrictions will also remain in effect in the rest of the province until further notice.

Red River flooding closes Manitoba border
