Aperia Technologies has added a new location-based feature to its Halo Connect tire management platform.

The feature, called Nearby Issues, is now available through the Halo Tech App and uses a technician’s real-time location to identify nearby trucks with tire issues. The system pinpoints the exact vehicle and tire needing attention, allowing technicians to walk directly to the unit and confirm repairs on the spot.

“Technicians don’t need more alerts; they need the right insights at the right time,” said Ralph Dimenna, chief commercial officer at Aperia Technologies. “Nearby Issues gives them a faster, smarter way to prioritize and resolve tire problems based on where they are, closing the gap between knowing an issue exists and getting it fixed.”

The new tool lets users view all vehicles with tire issues nearby, prioritize trucks based on the severity and number of alerts, and access live tire pressure data over Bluetooth. It also includes GPS-based navigation with color-coded severity indicators and controlled access for authorized users physically near the vehicle.
