Aperia launches Halo Connect 2.0

by Today's Trucking

Drawing on 50 billion miles of data collected by its Halo tire inflation system, Aperia Technologies has launched Halo Connect 2.0 to offer more tire management intelligence.

Unveiled at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s spring meeting, the company said its latest offering is a “cradle-to-grave” tire management system for fleets, offering deep historical health insights that offer customized fleet-specific information.

Fleets can input their most pressing concerns and receive more relevant alerts, the company claims. During a press conference the company said its Halo Connect 2.0 goes beyond existing tire pressure monitoring system that provide only inflation alerts.

It uses machine learning and can monitor all wheel positions. Halo Connect was first launched in 2019 and works with the Halo Tire Inflator. The new version is available as an asset or subscription service.
