APSCO, manufacturer of pneumatic and hydraulic products for the mobile equipment and transportation industries, launched the APEX system for dump trucks that prevents rollovers and operation with the bed raised.

The display and control system offers more than 20 safety features aimed at alerting drivers, preventing mistakes.

“The dual axis sensor will stop the truck from operating if it or the trailer is on unsafe ground. It will prevent the dump process,” Mark Haney, marketing development manager, APSCO, told TruckNews.com at Work Truck Week in Indianapolis, Ind.

The company also released three other product lines at the event.

The ARIS-250 (APSCO Reservoir Integrated System) for medium-duty trucks is an electric over hydraulic option that filters contaminants, lowering the cost of maintenance and extending vehicle life. The EDM (electric direct mount) air actuators for directional control valves provides a solution for electric over air control.

The ATAS-210 is a hydraulic manifold and control system for trailing axles. The hydraulic system, coupled with a trailing axle, redistributes the payload in order to accommodate bridge laws across the U.S.
