Carrier Logistics adds Shiplify location intelligence to TMS
Carrier Logistics Inc. (CLI) has integrated Shiplify’s location intelligence APIs into its transportation management system, providing less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers with earlier and more accurate insight into freight handling requirements and accessorials at pickup and delivery locations.
The integration is designed to improve operational efficiency and shipment accuracy by giving carriers better visibility into location-specific details before freight is moved, the company said in a news release.
All customers previously subscribed to CLI’s LOC-AI offering have been automatically upgraded to Shiplify. The integration provides location and accessorial details for carriers operating in the U.S. and Canada.

Features include standard Shiplify location data and API access, information on loading dock and site access, liftgate and forklift requirements, and multi-tenant location intelligence. The multi-tenant data identifies multiple consignees at a single physical address, along with suite or unit numbers and location-specific attributes such as dock access or other handling requirements.
