Clarience Technologies announced at the American Trucking Associations Management & Exhibition, an expansion to its Fus1on data platform.

Fus1on 2.0 will expand offerings beyond the company’s own products and will also bring new functionality to customers.

“Fus1on is a game-changing solution for the transportation industry. It is not just a software platform, but a digital ecosystem that connects all the data points in the transportation value chain,” said Nada Jiddou, chief digital officer of Clarience Technologies. “Fus1on empowers our customers to make smarter decisions, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety.”

Fus1on began as a digital data and analytics platform to power Clarience’s Road Ready telematics offering. But the company, realizing customers wanted a single platform to manage all their assets, is expanding the platform to include new offerings. With its Road Ready customers converted over to Fus1on, Clarience will now look to roll out new capabilities.

It plans to blend visibility of truck and trailer telematics, repair management platforms, TMS providers, e-logs, automated inspection reports, and asset lease management systems into a “single pane of glass” to simplify data analysis for fleets, Jiddou said at an MC&E press conference.

“Large commercial carriers have been struggling to find meaning in disparate data sources for many years,” said Jiddou. “Even those who invested in their own systems to create the data integrations have realized the difficulty of the task. We saw this as an opportunity to help.”

Beginning next year, Fus1on 2.0 will bring new features and functionality to users. More details will be released in early 2024, the company says.
