Fairbanks Scales’ new FB7100 Series of vehicle scales are designed for a variety of single-scale operations.

Features of the FB7101, FB7111, FB7102 and FB7112 include graphic touch-screen displays with large, colorful buttons, and the instruments are available for analog scales or scales equipped with Intalogix, the company says.

Available operating modes include Gross-Tare-Net (GTN), inbound/outbound, and basic in/out. The GTN mode supports processing of transactions and printing tickets with an auto-tare or keyboard-entered tare weight. The inbound/outbound mode allows empty or full vehicles to measure inbound weights using a temporarily stored and renamable Loop ID. The basic mode, meanwhile, supports applications where the gross and tare weights are the only printed information, with no calculated net weight.

Two enclosures are available. The NEMA 12 desktop enclosure has a five-inch touchscreen and is made with aluminum and steel. The NEMA 4X is a stainless steel washdown enclosure featuring a seven-inch touchscreen and a desk/wall mounting bracket.
