Fleet Advantage expands trailer lease program
Fleet Advantage has expanded its Trailer Lease Program, offering heavy-duty fleets more flexible leasing options designed to lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and enhance operational efficiency. The program now includes Terminal Rental Adjustment Clause (TRAC) financing for trailers, alongside other customizable leasing arrangements.
Fleet Advantage said in a news release that it manages roughly 30,000 assets and has leased one in every 42 Class 8 tractors in the U.S. over the past decade, adding that the expanded program brings the company’s flexible financing capabilities to trailers, offering tailored solutions developed in collaboration with leading OEMs and dealers.

The expanded trailer lease program also addresses maintenance needs through the Fleet Advantage Maintenance Solution, powered by FleetNet America and Cox Automotive. The company highlights the need for reliable maintenance solutions, citing trends highlighted in the American Transportation Research Institute’s (ATRI) 2024 Operational Costs of Trucking report, which found that the average age of trailers increased from 14.2 years in 2022 to 15.3 years in 2023.
Fleet Advantage has also introduced a trailer graphics refresh program. This initiative allows fleet clients to update trailer wraps during the lease term, ensuring mobile advertising remains visually impactful. The company says pricing for the refresh will be set based on competitive national account targets, with thorough reviews conducted before execution.
