Fleet maintenance system

TMW Systems has unveiled the TMTRx fleet maintenance solution for those who are using Innovative Access and Access Plus transportation management platforms.

Offered as Software-as-a-Service (Saas), it gives fleets a way to complete equipment inspections, repairs, and other processes on time and on budget, the company says.  It also integrates with the core dispatch an accounting functions of Innovative Access and Access Plus.

Alerts and notifications can be set up at a unit or component level to enforce fleet-wide maintenance policies, the company adds. When a repair order is opened, for example, technicians can be instructed to limit repair costs to a specific value if a unit is scheduled for a trade-in. Technicians could also be reminded about a task like capturing tread depth when installing or inspecting tires.

TMTRx has five other modules. The Shop Floor Automation Module creates a paperless workflow when assigning repair orders to technicians, a Road Call Module links road calls to repair orders, an Invoicing Module bills repairs for customers like owner-operators, and two more modules export warranty claims and parts purchase orders to Navistar or Volvo.

It can be deployed with a character-based green screen, or with the point and click functionality of a graphical web interface.
