FleetPulse telematics now standard on Great Dane trailers
Great Dane is now equipping each of its trailers with a FleetPulse telematics system and integrated CAN harnesses as a standard offering.
Many suppliers including Hendrickson, TSE Brakes, and many others are developing sensors, and the CAN network will help fleets take advantage of such technologies, the manufacturer says.
FleetPulse sensors deliver real-time information through a single web dashboard and mobile app, and they’re hardwired into the trailer. Component suppliers can also integrate their own data into the platform.
Great Dane has already integrated Wabco’s iABS and Grote’s Guardian data into the system, offering information on braking and lighting.
