Fuchs introduces Nyogel 760G grease
Fuchs Lubricants launched Nyogel 760G, a synthetic hydrocarbon grease designed to protect and lubricate electrical connectors and exposed terminals in several vehicle types, including Class 5-8 trucks.
The silica-thickened, medium-viscosity grease offers heat resistance and oxidative stability, the company said in a news release.
With an operating temperature range of -40C to 135C, Nyogel 760G also helps prevent fretting corrosion in electrical connections caused by vehicle vibrations. Additionally, it provides dielectric isolation with a breakdown voltage of 11.2 kV, reducing the risk of short circuits. Its water washout and salt spray resistance make it ideal for trucks operating in harsh weather and road conditions, the company says.
To ensure proper application and quality control, Nyogel 760G incorporates a UV dye for easy validation. The grease is available in various packaging options, including 110-lb. kegs, 7-lb. pails, 30cc clear syringes, and 100-gram tubes, catering to both high-volume production and small-scale applications.
