Geotab introduced Sustainability Center and EV charge monitoring tools to provide fleet managers with insights to reduce waste and improve operational sustainability. Both systems are integrated within MyGeotab, joining the Geotab Safety Center and Geotab Maintenance Center to provide a comprehensive fleet management ecosystem, according to a news release.

The Sustainability Center is designed to track environmental and operational metrics, offering visibility into fuel consumption, idling and emission trends. It also includes electrification insights, helping fleet operators assess which vehicles are best suited for EV replacement. Geotab has also integrated a greenhouse gas emissions report, certified by TÜV Rheinland, to track Scope 1 emissions and provide real-time emissions data for climate disclosures.

“Even small changes like monitoring idling can have a big impact on operations,” said Megan Allen, senior group product manager at Geotab, in a release. “The Geotab Sustainability Center empowers fleets with precise data insights to take actions that translate into lower costs while supporting their environmental goals.”

Geotab’s EV charge monitoring feature ensures electric vehicles are charged and ready for operation. Fleet managers can identify and resolve charging issues before they disrupt operations, manage a queue of vehicles waiting to charge when stations are limited, and make informed dispatch decisions based on charge availability, Geotab says.
