Getac Technology’s Model ZX70 Android tablet and Pedigree Technologies’ Cab-Mate ELD are being combined in a single offering.
Directly connected to the truck, it addresses connectivity-related delays and missing data that can be seen with bring-your-own-device models, the companies say.
The Getac ZX70 is engineered to survive a six-foot drop, shock, rain, vibration and dust, as well as extreme temperatures. It can be operated with a single hand, and features a seven-inch display with a touchscreen that can be read in sunlight.
It comes with a hard-tip stylus and supports touch, glove, or pen modes.
