Kenworth has introduced three advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) packages for the T680, offering a range of Bendix safety features and driver assistance technologies. The new packages—ADAS, ADAS Pro, and ADAS Premier—provide options for fleets looking to enhance safety and driver support.

All ADAS packages include the latest Bendix Fusion system, which features adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, pedestrian autonomous emergency braking, and high beam assist. Additional safety technologies such as autonomous emergency braking, multi-lane emergency braking, highway departure braking, stationary vehicle braking, lane departure warning, and Bendix Blindspotter side object detection are also included.

The tire pressure monitoring system is standard across all packages, offering real-time updates on tire health.

The ADAS Pro package adds lane-keeping assistance with torque-assisted steering.

The ADAS Premier package includes Kenworth’s DigitalVision Mirrors, in addition to all features of ADAS Pro.

“Driver assistance systems contribute in helping to reduce driver fatigue and enhancing the ease of operating commercial trucks,” said Kevin Haygood, Kenworth assistant general manager for sales and marketing, in a news release. “These new ADAS offerings will give our T680 customers more options to select features that support safe driving practices and also enhance the overall driving experience.”
