Lytx DVIR service to come in third quarter

A new driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR) service from Lytx joins the company’s suite of customizable fleet management solutions and can be bundled with its ELD service or added as a separate offering.

The formal records confirm that drivers have inspected vehicles before heading out on the road.

Fleet managers already using the Lytx platform will now be able to access a customizable checklist that can be accessed through a driver app or web account. Areas of concern can be tracked and reported to mechanics or fleet manager.

Drivers, meanwhile, will be able to upload photos or up to three seconds of videos to enhance reports and help mechanics understand underlying challenges.

The service will be available in the third quarter of 2022.
