Mitchell 1 shop software adds texting capabilities

by Today's Trucking

The MessageCenter texting app that integrates with Mitchell 1’s Manager SE Truck Edition is now available as an option for commercial truck repair facilities.

The two-way texting app allows service providers to communicate with customers about time and cost estimates, set service appointments, obtain approvals for work to be performed, share status updates, and even send pictures of specific components.

No more voicemails or emails that customers may not check right away.

The texting saves time, but also records specific exchanges between the shop and customer to clearly define everything from completion times to estimated costs. And it can all be saved to the customer file to help with future discussions.

Manager SE Truck Edition supports businesses that service Class 4-8 trucks.
