NTEA training gets down to electrical fundamentals

by Today's Trucking

NTEA is ready to teach electrical fundamentals using Truck Equipment Electrical Basics – an online course developed in partnership with the e-learning Electude platform.

The courses are designed to increase the functional knowledge of upfitters, engineers, fleet managers and technicians, but don’t offer the same depth needed to actually design systems and components.

The modules use gamification principles and other interactive resources to enhance the learning experience, NTEA says.

In the first course, participants learn some electrical theory fundamentals; how to measure voltage, resistance and current; and safe practices to follow when working with electricity.

The course is free for NTEA members and eligible for Member Verification Program credits and Continuing Education Units through the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.

Non-members can purchase a seat for $49.
