Orange EV introduces 7.5-year warranty
Orange EV has introduced a 7.5-year, 30,000-hour warranty covering the battery, powertrain, and electric components of its terminal trucks. The warranty far exceeds the 1-2 years or 6,000 hours typically offered for terminal trucks, according to a news release.
The extended coverage is backed by nearly a decade of real-world performance, with Orange EV trucks logging nearly 8 million miles since entering commercial operation in 2015, the company claims, adding that some units have surpassed 30,000 operating hours, outlasting many diesel yard trucks.

“Delivering the highest quality terminal trucks has always been our priority,” said Kurt Neutgens, president and chief technology officer of Orange EV. “Our new warranty isn’t just an extension of coverage, it’s a testament to our track record and a commitment to fleets that uptime, cost savings, and long-term performance are built into every truck.”
The warranty covers powertrain, motors, controllers, wire harnesses, and key electric components. Orange EV estimates fleets can save $500,000 or more over 10 years through lower operating costs and extended truck life.
