Victoria, B.C.-based Go Power!, provider of mobile power and Dometic, announced the launch of the Phantom advanced trail charger.

This system is engineered to cut costs, reduce downtime, and keep fleets running efficiently, sales representative Nicolas Vazquez Conde told TruckNews.com during Work Truck Week in Indianapolis, Ind.

The system is solar-ready, providing an upgrade opportunity to an eco-conscious charging option. It can charge the liftgate and pallet jack in the vehicle, Conde said.

The charger is designed to extend battery life by up to 200%, saving fleet owners $500-$1,000 per battery replacement.

It is compatible with a variety of vehicles, including delivery trucks, work trucks, fleet trucks, and tractor trailers.

The trail charger cuts fuel costs and maintenance expenses by reducing or eliminating idling, according to a news release. It helps reduce emissions by up to 10 metric tons annually per vehicle, that helps meet sustainability goals.
