Spireon asset tracker offers long life, easy installation

by Today's Trucking

Spireon has released a new long-lasting Flex Battery Tracker for unpowered assets.

The unit is powered by a battery designed to last five years and withstand a range of environmental conditions. It has multiple mounting options, the company says, fitting a range of applications. Multiple reporting options are available for in-motion or stationary assets.

It also features tamper detection technology and will alert the asset owner of any interference or tampering. The company says it’s also easy to install with a ‘slap-and-track’ approach and no need for complicated wiring.

“As an early user of the Spireon Flex Battery Tracker, I can attest to its exceptional ease of installation,” David Summitt, president of Summitt Trucking said in a release.

“From the very start, the ‘Slap & Track’ approach simplified the deployment process, eliminating the need for complicated wiring or extensive training. This straightforward installation method has not only saved us time but also made it possible for us to quickly expand our fleet tracking capabilities. Additionally, the installation is so easy that in many cases you could have the driver manage it. I believe this device is a game-changer for anyone seeking a hassle-free asset tracking solution.”
