Video and sensors combined

Zonar Coach is a video-based coaching system that captures video and combines it with G-sensor data that detects an event. The end result offers real-time instructions to drivers to help prevent accidents, improve efficiency, and remain compliant, its maker says.

The virtual coach delivers in-cab voice notifications through the Zonar Connect tablet when a driver exhibits a behavior like exceeding posted speeds, tailgating, driving out of a lane, missing stop signs, or more.

Video or image is captured along with location data. And after a trip is done, drivers can access a scorecard through Connect, with ratings for each type of event.

Fleet managers can access all the data through Zonar’s Ground Traffic Control portal, where they can also set thresholds and notifications.
