Webtech Driver Center on MDT 3200

The Webtech Wireless MDT 200

Webtech Wireless, the Burnaby, BC-based provider of fleet-location services and telematics technology, has announced the immediate availability of its Webtech Driver Center software application on the new MDT 3200 In-Cab devices.

The MDT 3200 is a mounted in-cab device, fully loaded with Webtech Driver Center, a software application designed to help drivers improve efficiency and remain compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Department of Transportation regulations. The mounted MDT 3200 joins the portable MDT 3500 plus the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and Galaxy Note 8.0 tablets as a suite of devices customers can chose from to run Webtech Driver Center.

The ruggedized MDT 3200 and the MDT 3500 are engineered to handle very challenging conditions, says Webtech, yet offer the intuitive features of touch-screen technology.

Webtech Driver Center is built on the versatility and functionality of the Android platform, and offers full electronic implementation of U.S. and Canadian hours-of-service rules, two-way messaging, forms, eDVIR, and numerous other features.

Webtech Wireless products are InterFleet, for government winter maintenance, public works, and waste-management fleets; and Quadrant, for commercial fleet operations and compliance (HOS, EOBR).
