Yokohama to debut two new truck tires at TMC
Yokohama Tire is rolling into the Technology & Maintenance Council show with two new truck tires that will launch later this year.
They include the 116R and BluEarth 718L.
“The 116R is a premium regional all-position steer tire that’s engineered to bring long tread life and durability to regional fleet operations and superior fuel efficiency for super regional activity,” said Tom Clauer, Yokohama’s senior manager of commercial product planning. “It will be made at our plant in Mississippi and is scheduled to launch later this spring.”
He described the BluEarth 718L as “a premium drive tire engineered with an ultra-fuel-efficient tread design and industry-leading compound, to help improve the profitability of today’s longhaul fleet operations.”
